Job description
The research project aims at identifying side effects of medications using national health registers. We are searching for highly motived candidates with a strong interest in epidemiology, pharmacology and biostatistics. Candidates must have a PhD degree or equivalent with a background relevant for the position (medical doctor, statistician or pharmacist). The postdoctoral fellow will analyze data, interpret and present the results, and write scientific articles.

The candidate must be able to work within a team but at the same time be independent enough to formulate new hypotheses, manage data and run analyses and critically review his/her results. Experience of working with large databases, ability to perform statistical analyses and good programming skills in STATA or SAS or similar environments are highly preferable. Previous experience in GWAS studies is an advantage. Fluency in spoken and written English is a must.
