Job Description
A post-doctoral fellow position in survivorship epidemiology research is immediately available in Dr. Michelle Hildebrandt’s research team at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Hildebrandt’s research interest is in identifying the mediators of quality of life, late effects, and other endpoints in cancer survivors taking an integrative molecular epidemiology approach. Potential projects provide opportunities for multi-disciplinary team research that span laboratory, quantitative, and social/behavioral sciences.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background and experience in analysis of patient reported outcomes and quality of life data, with additional training in genetics, genomics, pharmacology, and/or molecular biology a plus. In addition to analytical expertise, we are looking for an individual with high motivation, ability to work independently, creative thinking, and a strong commitment to cancer epidemiology research. The candidate must have a track record of successful Ph.D. training and excellent written and oral English communication skills.
