We have openings for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in these specific research areas within the Institute:

Systems Immunology

The individual we are seeking will hold a doctoral degree in modern experimental immunology, mathematics, statistics and/or bioinformatics. Experience in experimental science, genomics, sequence analysis, data modeling and visualization, and statistics is desirable, but not essential, as training opportunities will be provided.

James Lab

A PhD in immunology or a related field is required. Studies will focus on the response of human CD4+ and CD8+ lymphocytes to self-antigens in the context of type 1 diabetes and other autoimmune diseases. Required skills include utilization of tissue culture and multi-color flow cytometry.  Experience with HLA class I tetramer and intracellular staining is strongly recommended.

Kwok Lab

Postdoctoral Research Associate is needed for a team-oriented translational research laboratory focusing on antigen specific CD4+ T cell responses in autoimmune and allergic diseases in humans. Projects will involve examine transcriptomic of antigenic specific cells using Fluidigm platform and RNAseq platform. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry/Immunology with multiple years of experience with multi-color flow cytometry and molecular biology and a minimum of three years of related postdoctoral training.

Gavin Lab

Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct research pertaining to the modulation of protective and pathogenic immune responses through the therapeutic manipulation of regulatory T cells. M.D. or Ph.D. required.
