The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to study molecular signal transduction and mechanisms of action of anti-cancer drugs. . Experience with techniques such as cell cultures, qRT-PCR, Western blots, and immunhistochemistry is highly desirable. The Department of Pediatrics ranks on the top 25 Pediatric Programs for NIH funding and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is a leading research institution.
Job Requirements: Applicants should have a PhD degree in a relevant discipline, and a strong background in molecular and cellular Biology, cancer biology, genetics, tumor immunology and/or experimental/molecular therapeutics. An appropriate combination education, certifications, and/or relevant work experience will be considered.
