Job Description

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Durham University seeks to appoint a postdoctoral researcher, to begin by the end of June 2013 (latest) for a 6 month period. The position is funded by Procter and Gamble. The researcher will work independently on projects within the general area of research supported by the grant. The project will be supervised by Dr Buddhapriya Chakrabarti and Professor Tom CB McLeish (Physics Department, Durham University). The key objective is to understand equilibrium surface partitioning for polymer mixtures. The experimental aspect of the project is jointly being undertaken by Dr Richard Thompson (Chemistry Department, Durham University) and Procter and Gamble (Schwalbach, Newcastle, Brussels).
