Postdoctoral Associate in Somatic Mutation Discovery
A postdoctoral position is available with Jeffrey Kidd in the Department of Human Genetics and Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics at the University of Michigan Medical School. The position is focused on developing experimental approaches to discover and characterize genomic mutations arising in somatic tissues. Ideal applicants would have experience with high-throughput sequencing technologies and the development of array-capture/enrichment techniques.
Qualifications
The applicant should have a Ph.D. in genetics, molecular biology, or a related field. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
