Two Postdoctoral positions available in Neuroplasticity lab at City University of Hong Kong

Postdoctoral position is immediately available in Dr. Eddie Ma’s lab at Department of BCH, the City University of Hong Kong.

Applicants should possess a Doctoral degree in Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics or related discipline. The candidate should have strong knowledge in tissue culture, animal surgery and animal behavior (motor function tests) with background in biological/neuroscience research. The candidate with experience in small animal handling (i.e. intraperitoneal injection and force feeding), immunehistochemistry, Western blot, primary cell culture, protein extraction and molecular biology techniques are strongly encouraged to apply. For the second postdoctoral position, candidate should have in-depth knowledge of bioinformatics and proteomic techniques with a focus on next generation sequencing, mass spectrometry, 2-D gel analysis, LCMS and HPLC for drug discovery purpose. The Candidate should have a good command of written and spoken English, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be mature, self-motivated, and work independently.
