The Institute of Biosciences and Applications, in the framework of the research project "Target identification for disease diagnosis and treatment (DIAS)", sponsored by the Research Agencies Developmental Proposals - KRIPIS, invites interested parties to submit expressions of interest for one position for a postdoctoral researcher for 18 months in the laboratory of Environmental Mutagenesis and Carcinogenesis. Candidates will address (1) the study of molecular pathogenesis of human diseases associated with defective cell proliferation and growth, and (2) the characterization of drug action, especially in immortalized and cancer cell lines, as well as in patient samples, using methods such as sequencing, gene expression at the RNA and protein level, immunocytochemistry and related techniques. Candidates should hold a PhD in the Biological or other relevant sciences and must submit with their application a complete CV, copies of qualifications and a brief statement (up to 2 pages), describing their experience so far and their interests.
