A postdoctral position is immediately available in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Section of Neuroradiology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center at Houston. The main goal of our research is to perform large-scale genomic bioinformatic analysis to uncover genomic targets for Glioblastoma therapy. This will eventually be translated to the clinic to improve the treatment of brain cancer using genomic based therapeutics for personalized therapy an targeted therapeutic development.

        Highly motivated candidates with a recent Ph.D. or M.D., Ph.D. in bioinformatics are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates should have strong background in large-scale genomic bioinformatics analysis. Knowledge withthe TCGA (the Cancer Genome Atlas) data portal and data analysis is recommended. The qualified candidates are expected to work independently and as part of a team, with good written and oral communication skills.
