MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Edinburgh is a world-leading centre for multi-disciplinary research in mammalian stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. The postdoctoral fellow will work in the group lead by Dr. Keisuke Kaji who has recently developed a high-resolution analysis system to dissect molecular mechanisms of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell generation (Nature, June 2013). Using this system his laboratory aims understanding the molecular mechanisms of the reprogramming process and improving the reprogramming technology. Through this work the team aspires to reveal how to control cell fate.
