The Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking to fill a Postdoctoral Research Associate/Fellow position within the section of Digestive Disease and Nutrition.

The position is part of a federally funded T-32 training grant for a duration of two years. To qualify, the applicant must be within five years of receiving their Ph.D, has not received training in Gastroenterology or a related area, and may not have been previously supported by a NIH-NRSA grant for more than 1 year.

The position will require performance of lab experiments, analysis of data, interpretation of results, presentation of work at conferences and preparation of manuscripts. The position will prepare the successful candidate in pursuing a career in gastrointestinal physiology. A Ph.D in health, chemical or biological sciences is required for this position.
