Postdoctoral position immediately available to study physiological functions and pathological alterations in arterial smooth muscle cell ion channels. Projects include studying molecular signaling of TMEM16A, TRP, BKCa and voltage-dependent Ca2+ channels. Experience with patch-clamp electrophysiology, confocal calcium imaging, molecular biology, ion channel biochemistry, and cardiovascular physiology preferred.
