A postdoctoral researcher position is available at the Neuroscience Center, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA. Our laboratory studies the roles of miRNA-FOXP2 gene regulation network in neural circuit development, plasticity, and vocal learning in songbirds using a multidisciplinary approach.

Successful candidate should be highly motivated and has a recent PhD in molecular biology and neuroscience. Strong background and hand-on experiences in molecular cloning, viral work, animal surgery, and confocal imaging are desirable. Strong communication and organization skills are required.
