Post-doctoral position within UHV-STM and molecular self-assembly : Aarhus, Denmark
We are seeking a highly qualified and committed post-doctoral researcher to work on projects in relation to molecular self-assembly on surfaces under Ultra-High Vacuum conditions.
The successful candidate will work in the international and world-renowned scanning probe microscopy environment at Aarhus University in Denmark using the “Aarhus STM” and auxiliary surface science techniques. The projects will involve investigation of fundamental and cutting-edge problems within molecular self-assembly on surfaces e.g. dynamics, on-surface reactions, surface chirality and metal-organic coordination networks.
Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. within experimental ultra-high vacuum based surface science and preferably previous experience with UHV-STM.
Interested candidates should send an expression of interest fulfilling the requirements stated below to Assoc. Prof. Trolle Linderoth at the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) using the emailtrolle@inano.au.dk
The expression of interest e-mail should have as its subject line “UHV-STM postdoc”. The mail body should briefly outline previous experience with surface science, UHV-STM and/o molecular self-assembly. CV and publication list should be attached.
Candidates considered relevant for the position will be contacted.
