Develop molecular markers and use linkage maps obtained with them for positioning major genes and QTLs for characters of interest in rosaceous crops (stone fruit and berries). 

Use thewhole genome sequence information to find target genes and markers nearby

Transfer the obtained information and that existing in the literature to ongoing commercial breeding programs.
