You will be responsible for design, construction and running of a gas test station for harsh environments using Labview control and data logging. The role will involve redesigning our existing gas test station and methodologies for collecting data on sensors provided by the different partners of SOI-HITS, including Honeywell (lead partner). The project at Warwick will deal with testing of CO2, NO2, H2S and CO response of the new sensor modules.
You will have a background in instrumentation, sensors, ideally gas or chemical sensing technologies. Knowledge of National Instruments Labview software/instrumentation, Multisim software and Matlab data processing toolboxes, PCB design, microcontrollers would be advantageous.
