The Division of Clinical Epidemiology and Aging Research (C070) is seeking for October 2013 a Scientist (m/f): Epidemiology (Ref-No. 163/2013)

Project Description:

• Studies in the field of clinical epidemiology and aging research.

• Participation in local, national and international research networks

• Conducting of advanced statistical analyses 

• Supervision and advanced training of doctoral candidates

Your profile: 

• PhD level training in the biomedical field, preferably in epidemiology

• Additional qualification and/ or multi-year experience in epidemiology/ biostatistics, preferably in clinical , genetic or epigenetic epidemiology.

• Very good knowledge of epidemiologic analyses and methods

• Substantial experience in working with statistical software (SAS, R)

• Enthusiasm for working in interdisciplinary, team-oriented research groups

• Very good command of English

Duration: 

The position at first is limited for 3 years. Prolongation is possible.
