This position will investigate how sex differences influence inflammation in experimental stroke and develop new therapeutic strategies for stroke.
This position will conduct independent research, contributing to the writing of manuscripts and grant applications, preparing animal protocols and progress reports and collaborating with scientific colleagues from diverse disciplines.

Expertise in immunological methods, including an in-depth knowledge of FACS analysis as well as cellular and molecular techniques to evaluate both pathogenic and regulatory cell types.

Minimum of 2-5 years FACS analysis experience.
