A Research Fellow position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Yonggui GAO, located in Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB), Biopolis, Singapore. We are interested in: functional and atomic structural research on ribosome and antibiotic design, translational control and transcriptional regulation, glycobiology towards biofuel, and structural virulence. Our lab is well established. Together with the core facility from both University and IMCB-A*STAR (Agency for Science, Technology, and Research), it is fully equipped for all aspects of molecular biology, protein chemistry, and protein crystallography. The candidates, with good motivation and experience in crystallography, protein expression (Bacterial or Yeast or Baculovirus system) & protein purification, would be preferred.
