Two post doctoral fellowships (duration 1+1-year each) in molecular virology are available at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, Section of Medical Microbiology, Lund University, Sweden. The main interest of the research group is molecular biology of human papillomavirus and influenza virus. Project one is on human papillomavirus gene regulation, and focuses on human papillomavirus RNA processing with emphasis on regulation of papillomavirus late gene expression. A second project deals with influenza virus RNA-protein interactions and RNA processing.
Applicants must hold a PhD less than 5-year old and have well-documented experience in the field of RNA processing, or, alternatively, protein biochemistry, molecular biology or work with primary cells.
