Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to work under the supervision of Professor Hagan Bayley on research projects funded by the National Institutes of Health for a period of one year in the first instance. The project involves studies related to work on stochastic sensing and ultrarapid DNA sequencing with protein nanopores.

Applicants should either already have a PhD in a relevant subject area, or have submitted their thesis prior to taking up the post. Applicants should have experience in molecular biophysics preferably nanopore technology and microfluidics.
