We are seeking a post-doctoral researcher to join the Thermoelectric Group at Cardiff University. The post is associated with an EPSRC project on developing vehicle waste heat recovery system based on thermoelectric technology, in collaboration with Loughborough and Reading universities.

The work programme at Cardiff will focus on developing a new generation of thermoelectric devices for vehicle energy harvesting applications. The main tasks include establishing facilities/processes for fabrication and characterisation of thermoelectric devices. You should have good knowledge of materials science and experiences in fabrication of energy devices and characterisation of thermal and electrical properties.

This post is fixed-term, starting 1st September 2013 and ended on 31st August 2016.

Salary: £30424 - £36298 per annum (Grade 6)
