A post-doc is sought to help with the implementation of an ICU telemedicine program and clinical studies related to outcomes of critically ill children in Pediatric Intensive Care Units. Knowledge of computerized decision support and clinical informatics is preferred. Data sources include national databases, computerized provider order entry (CPOE) system data, continuous physiologic data monitoring systems, and clinical care applications. Data linkage between sets is necessary and applicant should have this data management skill. The applicant will be collaborating with physicians in the ICU, nurse leaders, hospital IT department, partners in Computational Medicine. Applicants should have a PhD and an record of accomplishments in epidemiology, biomedical engineering, computer sciences, biostatistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
