Would you like the opportunity to undertake research with an internationally recognised Neuroscience group and develop your personal area of research within a wider programme?

Funded through the Hull York Medical School and The WellcomeTrust, and in close collaboration with scientists in The Biology and Psychology Departments and The York Neuroimaging Center we are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate with relevant technical skills, interest and expertise in Neuroscience.

The applicant should have a PhD in a relevant field, for example Cellular Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience or Brain Imaging. They will be expected to have the associated technical skills and in-depth knowledge in that field. They should be highly motivated, with a willingness to learn, and be able and willing to work independently.  They should possess very good oral and written communication skills. They will be expected to be supportive to other members of the research group and Centre, and may be asked to help in supervision of undergraduate or master’s level project students. Active participation in lab meetings is required.
