A position is available for a project focusing on the mechanisms mediating cardiac protection. We are taking advantage of mouse pathophysiological models, genetically engineered mice, immunohistology, confocal microscopy, cell culture, and state-of-the-art molecular and cellular biology techniques to define the role of transcriptional complexes promoting cardiomyocyte survival.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a PhD or MD/PhD, and a strong expertise in molecular and cellular biology, cardiac pathophysiology. Excellent publication record, strong English writing skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently are required.

Competitive salary is available for two years with possibility of extension.
