Post-doctoral Fellowship Funded Position

The Research Imaging Centre within the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is presently seeking Postdoctoral fellow interested in Neuroimaging research directed to identification of biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease.
Minimum qualifications are a doctoral degree in a health related field (e.g. neuroscience, psychology, biology) with significant imaging experience or MD degree with proved research experience. Preferred candidates will have significant experience in multimodal imaging modalities namely PET, structural and functional MRI. Experience in working with dementia clinical population is an asset. Good oral and written communication skills are required.
The project will focus on a brain PET investigation of the neurochemical events occurring during the early stage of Alzheimer’s disease (the mild cognitive impairment stage) and their relationship to other brain correlates (structure, MRS, DTI)
This is an already funded position at CAMH- Canada’s largest mental health and addiction teaching and research hospital and is affiliated with the University of Toronto.
