Full Time : The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £32,375 - £39,132 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
An opening exists for an experienced and enthusiastic Research Associate to work on the ‘Alcohol Toolkit Study’ (ATS), funded by the National Institute of Health Research’s School for Public Health Research as part of its School-wide Alcohol research programme. The ATS is a monthly household survey of representative samples of 1700 people aged 16+ in England with a longitudinal follow-up postal survey 6 months later. It will provide evidence about the impact of national policy initiatives and campaigns on the population, and how this varies according to socio-demographic characteristics. The Research Associate will work under the overall direction of Susan Michie, Professor of Health Psychology at UCL.
The post is funded for 36 months in the first instance
You should be an experienced post-doctoral researcher with a PhD related to Health Psychology, Addiction or Public Health. You should have experience of managing large data sets and advanced skills of statistical analysis. You should have a proven track record of publications in high quality journals. You should have knowledge of behavior change and reducing excessive alcohol consumption.
