Applications are invited for the above position to start on 1 April 2014 or a mutually agreed date thereafter. The principal objective of this post will be to work with Professor Alexander Premet on his research project funded by The Leverhulme Trust. You will also be required to undertake a limited amount of undergraduate teaching and will be encouraged to pursue newly arising research directions.

You should have or be working towards a PhD in Pure Mathematics. Knowledge in Algebraic Representation Theory and Lie Theory is essential. Knowledge in the primitive ideal theory and postdoctoral experience are desirable. You should also have shown outstanding promise and ability reflected in an excellent record of original research achievements commensurate with your career.
