The George Mason University, Computer Vision and Robotics Laboratory in the Volgenau School of Engineering invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position available immediately for one year with possibility of renewal.
The focus of the project will be on development of novel techniques for semantic representations for large-scale image-based retrieval.
Qualifications:
Suitable candidates with Ph.D. in computer science or electrical engineering will be considered. The ideal candidate should have experience in object detection, semantic parsing, image segmentation and large scale retrieval, extensive programming expertise in MATLAB and C/C++, strong publication record in computer vision, and good presentation and writing skills.
