We are requesting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to work under the supervision of Professors Christopher Schofield and Veronique Gouverneur on a research project funded by the CRUK for a rolling 5 year grant. The Project involves development of new probes for cancer imaging working with scientists in the Department of Chemistry and the Gray Institute for Radiation Oncology and Biology based at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford. Applicants will need a PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, biological chemistry, molecular/chemical biology or a relevant subject area or have submitted their thesis prior to taking up the post. Expertise will be required in synthetic chemistry and some of the following: protein chemistry/purification, cloning/expression, antibody science, peptide chemistry, carbohydrate chemistry, biological/medicinal chemistry. The post will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, South Parks Rd, Oxford, OX1 3TA.
