Summary
The Biomaterials and Biophotonics Research Division) is seeking candidates for a post-doctoral position in biophotonics (http://www.kcl.ac.uk/prospectus/group/biomaterials-tissue-engineering-and-imaging.The prospective candidates must have sound skills as an experimentalist in optics and microscopy. They should have knowledge in fluorescence spectroscopy and the use of models to gain an understanding of the experimental measurements, and be able to implement new experimental configurations. Additional experience in advanced fluorescence microscopy techniques is a plus. Candidates should ideally have a PhD in experimental physics or optics-related subject. The individual will be interacting with a range of PhD and under graduate students, as well as fellow post-doctoral and academic staff encompassing a broad range of biomaterials research activities.

Salary
The appointment will be made, at Grade 6, currently £31,644 per annum plus £2,323 per annum London Allowance.
