ERC-funded postdoctoral position in the Bacterial Cytoskeleton and Cell Morphogenesis Lab (INRA Jouy-en-Josas)
We study emerging questions in the fields of bacterial cytoskeleton, bacterial cell morphogenesis and envelope (cell wall and membrane) organization using a combination of high-resolution fluorescence microscopy with powerful genetic, genomic,biochemical, biophysical and systems biology approaches (http://www.micalis.fr/micalis_eng/Poles-and-teams/Pole-Biosys/FICP-Noirot/Group-3-Carballido-Lopez)

We are looking for highly motivated post-doctoral fellows with experience in Single Molecule and/or Super Resolution Fluorescence Microscopy and Image Analysis demonstrated by peer-reviewed high quality research publications.

Experience with labelling techniques for proteins or DNA/RNA in living cells (e.g. RNA aptamers) highly appreciated.
Proven experience in applying and/or developing image/data analysis tools for biological systems using ImageJ, MATLAB or directly in Java or equivalent programming language
Ability to manage projects with a high degree of autonomy
Specifics of the postdoctoral project will be worked out together with the candidate.
