You will make a leading contribution to a project working with Professor Lee Cronin on the development of hybrid materials for application in sensing systems and supercapacitors. Specifically, the job requires expert knowledge in synthesis of radical cations, experience in electronic docking station, expertise in NMR, EPR and electrochemistry. You will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
With a PhD or equivalent in subject specialism, you will have specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of EPR, synthetic chemistry, NMR, Linux. You will have extensive relevant research experience normally including 1-2 years' postdoctoral experience in a related field.
