Centre for Brain Development and Repair, Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine
Tenure-track Faculty and Postdoctoral Researchers
The Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), in partnership with the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) and the University of Edinburgh, has established the Centre for Brain Development and Repair (CBDR) at the NCBS/inStem campus in Bangalore, India. CBDR’s mission is to understand the cellular, physiological and behaviour basis for Developmental and Degenerative Brain Disorders with an initial focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual Disability
We are recruiting tenure-track faculty as well as postdoctoral researchers
in the following integrated research fields: 1) disease modelling using human pluripotent stem cells, 2) novel rodent behavioural paradigms, 3) in vivo and in vitro electrophysiology and imaging and 4) synaptic and circuit modelling. You will be part of a well-funded, highly collaborative team of researchers working in state of the art facilities. Tenure-track faculty will be expected to develop independent research programmes. Previous experience in neurodevelopmental disorders is not required.
