Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to work under the supervision of Professor Hagan Bayley on research projects funded by the Oxford Nanopore Technologies for a period of one year in the first instance. The project involves fundamental investigations of droplet interface bilayers and droplet networks.

Applicants should either already have a PhD in a relevant subject area, or have submitted their thesis prior to taking up the post. Applicants should have experience in biophysical chemistry including ion channel and pore technology, and skills in biochemical and molecular biological techniques The post will be based in the Chemistry Research Laboratory, Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA.
