Dr. Robert D’Amato of the Department of Ophthalmology at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to study the pathophysiology of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) and neuronal damage. The project investigates the genetic causes of CNV and neuronal damage. Additionally the project will investigate novel therapeutic interventions for CNV and neuronal damage. The ideal postdoc will have experience performing mouse eye models of laser induced choroidal neovascularization and glaucoma. Candidates should be able to work independently and have good English writing skills. Salary is commensurate with experience.
