A Post-doctoral/Senior Post-doctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Alana Welm to investigate the molecular mechanisms of immune control of breast tumorigenesis and metastasis through in vitro and in vivo approaches with mice. Studies include the investigation of macrophage stimulating protein (MSP) as an important facilitator of breast cancer metastasis. This is a mentored position for postdoctoral training. Incumbents at this level plan, design and conduct research experiments; manage research projects; prepare reports and papers for publication, presentation and future research; contribute to grant writing and are encouraged to write applications for fellowships.
