We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our research team and help direct our studies investigating functional and translational genomics and epigenomics. Our laboratory focuses on identifying epigenetic contributions to complex diseases such as cardiovascular disease and psychiatric disorders. The applicant will design and conduct research under the direction of Dr. Melanie Carless, to investigate the role of epigenetic factors in neuronal differentiation and psychiatric disease and implement novel methodologies aimed at improving therapeutic regimes. Particular emphasis will be placed on differentiation of iPSCs, next-generation sequencing technologies and gene-editing tools. The applicant will be expected to conduct laboratory-based research as well as prepare and publish scientific manuscript
