As part of the Medical Research Council Refractory Asthma Stratification Programme (RASP-UK), the successful applicant will undertake primary clinical research including phenotyping and investigation of stratified severe asthma cohorts with a focus on non-steroid responsive mechanisms with the express purpose of obtaining a PhD. The position, available for up to three years, will be assigned to the research team led by Professor Liam Heaney and Dr Lorcan McGarvey within the Centre for Infection and Immunity and Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.

Salary scale: £30,002 - £47,175 per annum
