The role:
You will ensure the success of a set of international journals by using your knowledge of the field and by working with academic Editors to identify and deliver development opportunities. Excellent communication skills and strong relationships are key to the role. This is an exciting and challenging role that provides an opportunity to stay close to the cutting edge of advances while working in a dynamic, international environment. Key tasks
The successful candidate will:
Build knowledge of the field and the communities that the journals serve, to seek out development opportunities, translating them into actions to maintain a competitive advantage. This will involve engaging with senior scientists and obtaining their advice.
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with academic Editors, Editorial Boards, society executives and other key organisations in the field, with the aim of building BioMed Central’s reputation and attracting submissions.
