　　导 读

　　美东时间5月1日，2018年度美国科学院院士增选结果揭晓，84名新科院士和21名外籍院士榜上有名，其中包括6名著名旅美华人学者，涵括物理、生物与固体力学等领域，分别毕业于北大、西交大、复旦、中科大、台湾中兴大学，和哈佛。

　　美国科学院由林肯总统1863年签署法案建立，以表彰当选院士在科学研究领域的卓越贡献，并为美国联邦政府提供科学政策建言。今年增选后，其院士总人数达到2382名。据统计，迄今为止，一共有约90名华人学者当选美国科学院院士。

　　在早先公布的2018年美国工程院院士增选中，也有六位旅美华人学者当选，包括，佐治亚理工学院史建军，加州理工学院汪立宏，麻省理工学院邵阳，康宁公司李明军，卡拉制药公司Chen Hongming，和Sandia国家实验室科Jacqueline H。 Chen。另有四位中国学者当选为美国工程院外籍院士，包括清华大学郝吉明，中科院金属所卢柯，浙江大学杨卫，和台湾地球科学家李罗权。
