一、岗位职责与招聘条件

(一)岗位职责

1、负责开发、测试和使用数据软件,即标准化神经科学数据集的采集、可复制分析Pipeline的开发以及基于BIDS标准的公开数据存储。

Developing, testing, and implementing scientific software, i.e., standardized neuroscience data acquisition, reproducible analysis pipelines, and data storage for open science building on the BIDS standard.

2、为处于不同能力水平的学生和博士后提供高质量的编程培训(例如R、MATLAB、Python)和技术支持。

Providing training and support for students and postdocs at varying levels of competence in modern, high quality, open science/source coding practices (Especially R, Python and MATLAB).

3、能够熟练的负责Linux系统的使用和维护,熟悉cluster架构,精通cluster的管理与维护。

Being proficient in using and maintaining Linux systems, and is familiar with cluster architecture and being proficient in cluster management.

4、为数据管理提供支持和培训。

Providing support and training for data management.

5、作为实验室与众多国际组织的IT团队的对接者(BigBrain/GBC/Hiball/HBP/CONP)。

Being the lab’s interface with many international organizations’ IT teams (BigBrain/GBC/Hiball/HBP/CONP).

6、负责提供实验室的IT技术支持,如排除软件、硬件故障和防火墙的维护与管理,以确保所有系统的可用性。

Being able to coordinate general IT support for the lab, such as troubleshooting and maintenance/management of firewall to ensure all systems’ usability.

7、期待学习:BIDS标准、开放科学工具、神经影像技术和数据分析(尤其是fMRI和MEG/EEG)和XNAT。

Expected to learn: BIDS standards, Open science tools, neuroimaging techniques, and data analysis (especially fMRI and MEG/EEG) and/or XNAT.

(二)拟招聘人员应具备的条件

1、硕士及以上学历,数学、统计、计算机、信息学、神经科学等自然科学相关专业。

Completed Master’s degree or above in natural sciences, engineering, or a similar field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Informatics, Neuroscience).

2、有扎实的编程技能经验优先,最好是Python、R和Matlab语言。

Solid programming skills, preferably in Python, R, and Matlab.

3、有Python库(如NumPy、SciPy、Matplotlib和pandas)使用经验优先。

Experience with Python libraries (e.g., NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, and pandas) is beneficial.

4、有软件开发(如用Git进行版本控制)和数据组织(如用SQL和MySQL进行数据库管理)的经验为佳。

Experience with software development (e.g., version control with Git) and data organization (e.g., databases with SQL and MySQL) is preferable.

5、了解相关元数据标准的优先。

Knowledge of relevant metadata standards.

6、对跨学科项目以及认知神经科学感兴趣。

Interest in interdisciplinary projects and cognitive neuroscience.

7、做事严谨、认真,责任心强,具有良好的团队意识

Team spirit, reliability, and sense of responsibility

8、高度的自我组织和独立工作能力。

High degree of self-organization and independent work

9、具有流利的英语口语和写作能力。

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Professor Valdes-Sosa Valdes Sosa:

“中国-古巴神经科技转化前沿研究联合实验室”是由电子科技大学和古巴神经科技中心于2015年在生命科学与技术学院联合成立。在Valdes-Sosa教授的带领和指导下,通过六年的发展,团队目前发展成了一个多达30余人的高度国际化联合研究团队,其中协议教授1人、副高1人,博士后(含出站)4人,博士生8人(含留学生),硕士(含留学生)20人;团对成员来自世界各国,如英国、土耳其、卢旺达、坦桑尼亚、古巴、也门、巴基斯坦等国。

The "China-Cuba Joint Laboratory " was established in 2015 by the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and the Cuban Center for Neuroscience in the School of Life Sciences and Technology. Under the leadership and guidance of Professor Valdes-Sosa, the lab has developed in six years into a highly international joint research team of more than 30 people, including one national special expert, one agreed professor, one associate professor, four postdoctoral students, eight doctoral students, and 20 master students. Members of the group come from countries all over the world such as UK, Turkey, Rwanda, Tanzania, Cuba, Yemen, Pakistan, etc.

团队主要研究方向为:全脑成像研究,包括建立多模态数据库(包括电生理和核磁共振信息),生物物理模型和统计理论的发展及其在大脑基础研究和公共卫生等领域的应用。

Joint China-Cuba Lab aims to do all-aspect research of human brain mapping, including both the creation of multimodal databases (that include electrophysiological and MRI information) as well as the biophysical modeling and statistical theory development for both basic brain research as well as applications to public health.

Valdes-Sosa(古巴)教授自2015年来华全时全职工作,是国家领军人才、中古联合实验室团队负责人;目前的主要研究工作是人脑绘图的各个方面,包括建立多模态数据库(包括电生理和核磁共振信息),以及生物物理模型和统计理论的发展。至今,Valdes-Sosa教授在国际刊物上发表学术论文180余篇,谷歌学术引用10497余次,H指数54。

Professor Valdes-Sosa started working at UESTC full time since 2015 when he was awarded the “state leading expert” of China and was designated as the Director of the Joint China-Cuba Laboratory. His current main research work is to all aspects of human brain mapping, including both the creation of multimodal databases (that include electrophysiological and MRI information) as well as the biophysical modeling and statistical theory development for basic brain research. He has published more than180 peer-refereed papers and has an H index of 54 in May 2021. The total citation for his publication is 10497 and form 2016 is 4040.
