OHIO UNIVERSITY , Civil Engineering Department, invites applications for a post-doctoral researcher in Transportation Engineering. The department is seeking researchers with training and experience in highway safety, traffic engineering and/or driving simulators.
The researcher will develop and conduct externally funded research. Funding is available through June 30, 2016, and could be continued with externally funded projects.
Research collaboration opportunities are available within the Ohio Research Institute for Transportation and the Environment, as well as the Safety and Human Factors Facility. Preferred start date of January 2014.
Minimum Qualifications
A B.S. degree in engineering and an earned doctorate in Civil Engineering, with a specialty in Transportation Engineering, by the time of the appointment (1/2014).
Preferred Qualifications
A B.S. degree in engineering, an earned doctorate in Civil Engineering, with a specialty in Transportation Engineering, and a P.E. license.
