The Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow to perform experiments involving basic and translational cardiovascular biology on laboratory animals, molecular work, tissue culture and cell biology. Stipend will be funded by NIH training grant.

Applicants must be a US citizen or hold a green card, and must also have a PhD, MD, or DVM degree. Applicants must also demonstrate:

• a background in cardiovascular disease,
• no more than 4 years of previous postdoctoral research experience
• no more than 1 year of previous NIH training grant support as a postdoc
• previous clinical training will be helpful
