Exciting postdoctoral position is available at the Medical Faculty, University of Geneva. University of Geneva offers a world leading, highly stimulatory intellectual environment for cutting-edge metabolic research. The main interests of our lab are the molecular mechanisms underlining metabolic diseases, primarily obesity and insulin resistance, and in particular the roles of the adipose tissue and the gut in the regulation of metabolism. Projects involve using state-of-art technologies and in vivo animal models, generally aiming at developing strategies for treatment of dyslipedaemia, diabetes and obesity.

Candidates with prior experience in work with mouse models, particularly with technical expertise in the intestine, are encouraged to apply.

Geneva offers an outstanding environment for study and research in a beautiful natural setting. Successful candidates will work in an ambitious, multidisciplinary translational research group led by Mirko Trajkovski, and will include national and international collaborations.
