A postdoctoral fellow position for stroke research is available at the Department of Neurosurgery at State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. We are looking for experienced posdocs who have experience in making rat/mouse model of stroke, evaluation of functional improvement, in brain imaging, or in cellular and molecular biology to join our research team. The methods to be used in experiments include animal models for stroke, ICV injection, animal behavioral test, live brain imaging, primary neuron cultures, bone marrow stem cell or vascular cell cultures, FACS, Western blot, qRT-PCR, ELISA, and immunohistochemistry.
Applicants must have a PhD in Neuroscience with related publications.
