A postdoctoral research position is available in the group of Prof Andrew Hall, Institute of Anatomy, University of Zurich, to work on in vivo imaging of the kidney. We use advanced fluorescence imaging techniques (including confocal, multi-photon and super-resolution microscopy) to investigate the pathophysiology of kidney diseases at a cellular level in animal models. Our group combines expertise in optical physics, cell biology and nephrology, and is situated directly adjacent to the extensive core imaging facilities at The University of Zurich.
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with an established track record in fluorescence imaging in vivo (rodent or zebrafish), and with expertise in genetically encoded optical indicators and computational image analysis.
Zurich is an attractive city and offers a very good standard of living. The post is available immediately until filled and comes with a highly competitive salary.
Please send your application by email including: explanation of your motivation for applying and your relevant expertise, CV, copies of degree certificates, and contact details for at least two referees.
