Job Description

Postdoctoral position position in the Department of Biological Sciences at Mississippi State University to conduct research on a NIH-funded project. Identify mechanisms by which bacteria survive within the gastrointestinal tract of mammals, specifically, identification of Listeria species that survive within bile using both classical microbiological techniques as well as molecular techniques.  Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field is required.
