Postdoctoral position available in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology, the Taub Institute, and the Stem Cell Initiative at Columbia University Medical Center. Directions of research include:

(1) analysis of molecular and cellular mechanisms of neurodegeneration using cell and animal models
(2) integrative computational approaches, based on genomic and transcriptomic data, towards the identification of etiological genes and factors in neurodegeneration
(3) development of directed somatic cell reprogramming models of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, or other brain disorders
(4) mechanisms of epigenetic reprogramming

We are recruiting an outstanding candidate with interests and expertise in cell and molecular biology, bioinformatics and computation (R, Python, Bioconductor), stem cell biology/epigenetics, or cellular neuroscience.
