Applications are invited for a research associate to work on a project funded by the US Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) that aims to engage and enhance cortical processes associated with adaptive reasoning and problem solving, with Drs Nick Yeung and Roi Cohen Kadosh. This post is available as soon as possible for 1 year in the first instance and for up to 3.5 years.
Candidates must hold a PhD degree in psychology/neuroscience or a related field, have a strong background in conducting and running EEG experiments, and a proven track record of peer-reviewed publications. Prior work on projects involving cognitive training, and combining of EEG with other modalities (e.g. fMRI, brain stimulation) and strong statistical background is desirable. Applicants are expected to be able to demonstrate that they are both self-motivated and able to work collaboratively.
